Lufkin, Texas

This passed weekend we went to the Lufkin house to do some clean-up work.

Father like Son. Braden tried Casa Ole hot sauce for the first time. He loved it. He had a fit when I said "NO MORE". Kevin was eating hot sauce when he was a year old too.

Early Saturday morning Braden got up wanting outside to start the hard day of work.
First he did a little house work. He loves brooms.

The goal of the weekend was to take everything out of this 40 year old shed, that had tons of history in it. And put it in.......
the new barn. 4000 sq. ft. It's HUGE
The guys found Kevin's great grandfather George's toolbox.
And Kevin's great great grandfather Marshall's toolbox, it's over 100 years old.

Tuesday Tea Time

Months a ago, (I'm a little behind) Braden and I met with my mom and aunt Kara at a little tea room in League City, with a cute shop above it. We went for lunch and shopping.

Calendar Boy

A woman at Kevin's work put together a calender of all of the kids and grandkids on their unit. Dedicated to the parents and grandparents who work at BP Power 2 unit. It's a 18 - month calender and Braden is on August 2008 along with another co-workers childen.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

My sister Niccole found out today she's have a little girl. She's due in July. I'm so excited I can't wait for my little niece to come into the world. She will be spoiled.

Valentines in the Hill Country

Kevin suprised me with a trip to Austin for a early Valentines, we stayed in the beautiful Lakeway Hotel Resort and Spa on Lake Travis.

We all three got Texas Ranger badges that say.... MOM, DAD, and THE KID
And this was my BIG suprise............ Kevin bought me a Coach purse. I loooovvvvvvvve it!!!! He knew I aways wanted one. After all of that, Kevin sent me to the spa to pamper myself, so I got a manicure and a pedicure. He is so sweet. We had such a great trip.

Bike Ride

Braden got a new helmet for his birthday, and last weekend we got a child carrier for my bike. Today, Braden and I tried them out.

I know he doesn't look very happy, but he is. He was relaxed, from letting the wind blow in his face. Braden loved our ride. He was so upset when I took him out of the seat, he thru a mild fit.

New Shoes

Last weekend we found these cute shoes for Braden. They have race cars on them and they light up when he walks. Oh and they're size 5's (huge feet). One look and Braden wanted them. Once he had them on, he watch him feet as he walked so he could see them light up. He is so funny.
