New puppy pics
I have more pics of the puppies, 5 days old. They will be ready to take home before Mother's Day. We have to wait a little longer, so we can pick our little girl out. They're so sweet!! We haven't seen them in person, the breeder emails me pictures and updates on how they are doing. The breeder names every litter they have, and this one is called..... That 70's Show Crew. She'll give each pup their own temporary name and colored collar so you can tell them apart. But of course we will have a name pick out for our little one when she comes home with us.

We're getting a puppy
We have been wanting to get a puppy for a while now. We have found a breeder that we love, she breeds dobermans. They are great family pets. Kevin has grown up with dobermans all his life. The litter we've been waiting on were born yesterday. We are sooooo excited. The pups are from a champion bloodline (the dad). We are getting a female, and we have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to bring her home. We haven't picked her out yet. But we know there is one for us. There were 5 male and 5 female. That's a big litter.
This is the mom Jena with 1 weeks to go.

Jena and her sweet babies. I can't wait, one of them will be come home with us.
As soon as we choose one, I'll post a pic of her.

Easter 2008
The Easter Bunny made a stop at our house.
Braden is checkin out his Basket.

My Memaw made the Eater Bunny cake when my mom was a kid, and when my mom became a mother she made it. And now it's my job. This is my second year a make the Bunny cake.
Braden is ready to hunt for eggs. It never happened though, we had some issues. He did look really cute though.

West Texas and New Mexico
For spring break, Braden and I went on a trip to Balmorhea, Texas and New Mexico. We stayed in the Balmorhea State Park, we've known the Manager there for about 10 years now, Ranger Tom. We stay in his guessed house when we are in town. There were 8 of us total, 4 kids, 3 moms and 1 baby. Oh, and we were all in ONE car. We traveled 2050 miles round trip, in 7 days. I'm happy to be home. Don't get me wrong it was fun.
Braden and I about 5 hours into the trip.
They're so sweet when they're sleeping. Diana and her friend Grace
The Sonora Caverns
We were dig for gems

We just found some fool's gold

We took a two hour tour of the caverns. It was beautiful, the best caverns I've ever been in.
This is called Apple Sauce
I can't remember what this one was called

When we got to Balmorhea, we were unpacking so the kids went to the park to play. Ten minute later, I see my brother running towards the front door screaming. He is covered in blood. He had fell off the slide and crack his head . My mom ran him to the hospital. The poor little guy had to get 3 stitches.
Day 3 We all went swimming, the park has a hot spring with a pool built around it. It's huge.

Day 4&5 Riudoso, New Mexico
We took a day trip to Riudoso and went tubing down a mountain. It was a lot of fun.
We took turns watching Braden, that's why he and I are not in the picture. They went tubin first.

Congratulations Shelby
Congrats Jenn and Sean
Congratulations are order. My sister-in-law Jennifer got engaged over the weekend. They haven't set a date yet, but they are thinking April next year.
Big Day at the Zoo
Saturday we took Braden and Kevin's little cousin Ashley to the Houston Zoo. It was the perfect day to go.
One year ago Braden visited his very first Zoo in Colorado, he was 7 weeks old. Time flies.
Braden had a blast, he walked the whole Zoo. We tried to put him in his stroller and he wouldn't have that.
