A Tiny Blessing

A friend of the family, Nancy has become a first time Grandmother. Her granddaughter Rhea, was born last Thursday around 7 pm. She was 5lbs 3oz. and 17 1/2 inches long. She's so tiny. Mother and baby are doing great. Congrats Nancy and Family!!

Shopping and Lunch

Braden is taking a nap so I thought I would fit a blog in my busy schedule. HAHA.
Earlier today, we met up with a old friend Amy from High School. We did a little shopping and went to lunch. Amy is expecting her first baby. She's 25 weeks pregnant and having a boy, Jackson Taylor.
After that wonderful lunch, I'm ready to take a nap too.

Sweepin Sam

Braden loves brooms so much daddy found him his very own Sweepin Sam. He walks all over the house with it. He likes helping mommy with the house work.

Girls Scrapbook Weekend

A bunch of us girls stayed in a beach house on Crystal Beach for the weekend, to do some scrapbooking. Braden stayed home with daddy, so I got ALL my work done. I'm so happy to finish it all. It's a huge house, sleeps 18. Ten stayed the whole weekend, 5 women plus 5 kids. We had such a great time.

I went last year too, and Braden came with me he was only 4 weeks old and I couldn't be away from him that long. Here he is on the beach, sound asleep. It was freezing out there. He was so tiny.
Kevin came to visit on Saturday and brought Braden. So I had to get a pic in the same place as last year. He's 13 1/2 months. He has really grown.

Cookie Monster

Braden is my cookie monster. He loves cookies. Now that we have girl scout cookies in the house, he helps himself to the pantry. He gets in, and grabs his cookies and brings them to us. "Mama cookie" "Daddy cookie".

Lufkin, Texas

This passed weekend we went to the Lufkin house to do some clean-up work.

Father like Son. Braden tried Casa Ole hot sauce for the first time. He loved it. He had a fit when I said "NO MORE". Kevin was eating hot sauce when he was a year old too.

Early Saturday morning Braden got up wanting outside to start the hard day of work.
First he did a little house work. He loves brooms.

The goal of the weekend was to take everything out of this 40 year old shed, that had tons of history in it. And put it in.......
the new barn. 4000 sq. ft. It's HUGE
The guys found Kevin's great grandfather George's toolbox.
And Kevin's great great grandfather Marshall's toolbox, it's over 100 years old.
