I'm bored...What do you want to do today?

Today we decided to take Braden to the Children's Museum, we had a great time. Braden was taking everything in. I think his favorite things there were the little chicks and looking in the mirror at himself

Our Anniversary

Today was our 4th wedding anniversary. I can't believe it, time flies by. These have been the best 4 years of our lives.

We didn't do much for our anniversary, being during the week. Kevin, Braden and I had a nice dinner together as a family. We got married because we loved each other and want to make a family together. Tonight's family dinner was more than enough to celebrate our anniversary. It was the end of a great day.

Good News!!

My mom is finally home from the hospital. She's doing very well. She had a virus in her spinal column, and a staph infection. Doctors aren't sure where the virus came from. If you know my mom, you would know that she pops up with the craziest illnesses. In September 2006 she had a heart attack, that was very mysterious to doctors and still is. They're saying she has Takosubo Syndrome. This heart condition is very serious. "Why do these things keep happening to her? I wish I knew." Generally she is a health women, she takes very good care of herself, if you can believe that. I'm just sooo happy she's better. Please keep her in your prayers.

Red Wagon

For over 100 years the Duschamps' have had land and a home in Lufkin, TX. Kevin and I love going up there, because of the peace and quite and the family history when we look around.

I told Kevin one day, I wanted to find a Red Wagon, so I could take Braden's picture in it. Because when I was little I had one and there a picture of me in it. I wanted to do the same with Braden.

Well, while we were in Lufkin a couple of months ago, we were cleaning up and checking out the place. When in the corner of my eye I see a Red Wagon. I got sooo excited, I pulled it out and dusted it off and ran to grab Braden to take the picture I've been wanting. When we got home we asked Kevin's Grandfather about the wagon, he said it was his. I don't know how old the wagon is but knowing it is Braden's Great Grandfather's is amazing to me. Braden loved that wagon I pulled him around for hours.

Fire Station

I am a assistant leader for my little sisters girlscout troop along with my mom and my aunt Kara. Tonight we had our meet at the Friendswood Fire Station. We started the meeting by hiking from the girlscout house to the fire house, it was a little more than 1/2 mile to get there.

Of course, Braden went with us. He has been to every meeting since he was two weeks old. The girls love to see him. I just think it's never to early to teach your child fire safty. Braden loved the BIG RED truck. He kept touching it.

Guitar Hero

Kevin's brother Michael pulled out his guitar hero game. Kevin says he doesn't like this game, but he sure does play it a lot. If you can't tell Braden like to be in the center of everything. I've never played the game but everyone says once you start, it becomes addictive. They could play for hours.

Crazy Cats

Meet Missy and Cocoa. These are my precious little angel kitties. RIGHT! They have become very jealous since Braden was born. I haven't been spending a lot of time with them, so they're mad at me. Braden loves them, he chases them all over the house. When Braden goes down for a nap, they are the sweetest and lovable cats ever. They were mad at me when I took these pictures.
