Family Additions

This is a big year for our family. Braden will be welcoming two new cousin. My sister Niccole is expecting a little girl in July, and Kevin's sister Jennifer is expecting in December. Both are their first. Also, Kevin's cousin Clarie is expecting her little girl in July. Braden won't be the baby anymore.

Braden, Kevin and I ate at the Rainforest cafe and spent the day at Moody Gardens last weekend. We checked out the Aquarium and the Titanic exhibit. Michael and Emily came with us.

Mother's Day & Grandma's Birthday

My second mother's day was perfect. I woke up with a big hug and kiss from my sweet little man. He and Kevin made me a wonderful breakfast, with all my favorites. After Braden's nap we head over to Grandma's house (my mom) to go swimming. It was a beautiful day for it. I got to use my new camera I got for mother's day. I've been wanting one for everyday use to carry in my purse. I love it. My boys are so good to me. After a little fun in the sun and swimming, we went over to Mimi's house (Kevin's mom), to wish her a happy mother's day. It was a great day. No cooking or cleaning up after anyone.



Monday was my mom's birthday. A bunch of us went out to dinner, to celebrate.
Braden couldn't wait to sink his teeth into that cake. I hope you had a great birthday mom. I love you!

Lots to say at 16 months

Braden is talking his little head off, full sentences. Like......

I didn't like that. (When he rolled down the bottom step of the stairs)
I want cookie! (When, well that's all the time.)
Kitty get down! When the cat was on the counter)
Hi kitty-cat. (When he sees the cats)
I love you! ( When I told him "I love you" and he repeated me)
Oh cool! (When we were at Sharper Image and he saw something he liked.)
Daddy come look. (When he called daddy over to see him in the dog cage)

Daddy got him a basket ball goal to practice his dunking and free throws.

Welcome Sadie

Sadie is the newest addition to our family, we picked her up yesterday. She is the size of Kevin's size 12 shoe. She is the best cuddlier and sweetest thing. Braden loves her so much.

Braden went over to Sadie's bed and called her over to play with him.
